Ed Brown's Press Kit
"Ed Brown is the 'real deal'. He has a natural storytelling ability that comes through in his songs and poems. No fiction going on here. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening than to listen to Ed share his life and talents" Lee Bellows
Pro rodeo clown
"Ed Brown was referred to us back in 2003 as a main stage artist for the Stony Plain gathering. Ed's performance lived up to that billing and more adding his personality and talent as a songwriter, musician, poet and visual artist and good friend of the gathering. Ed has a standing invitatin to Stony Plain and I'm proud to have been associated with an artist of his calibre."

Ed Brown
Ed Brown's musical influences include the Spanish and Celtic music which formed the backbone of traditional cowboy music, and also come from a wide variety of other sources. Defying the perceived limitations of the nylon stringed guitar, hints of folk, country, blues and even classical and jazz can be heard sneaking into his playing either when performing one of his own compositions or on those occasions when he serves as a side man helping out some other performer. "I don't believe in being too genre specific. If a lick serves the song, I'll play it."
